Acidanthera are plants that originated in Africa. The acidanthera plant is a delicate graceful version of the gladiolus with creamy white flowers and a soft floral frangrance. Although they both must be taken care of with equal treatment, the acidanthera has a longer growing season. The acidanthera is a perfect plant to grow in outdoor gardening arrangements for regions that experience only mild swings in temperature. It is also probably unknown that the acidanthera is part of the Iris flower family. When growing these plants, it is best to plant the individual bulbs in loamy soil in a large tub.
