The Adder's Tongue plant originated in mild temerate areas that are wooded in Asia, Europe and North America. The adder's tongue is perfect for indoor ornamental design for various reasons, and also great for growing in woodland gardens, shady flowerbeds, rock gardens. The common variations of these plants are known as the Dog's Tooth Violets, Fawn Lilies and Trout Lilis. The foliage of the adder's tongue is flowing and draping in form and the flowering bloom comes in several varieties of color from bright yellow to light purples.
Adder's tongue blooms relatively eary in the spring. The adder's tongue thrives in environments that are damp and wooded. The adder's tongue has a stem that is with leaves that are purplish to greenish shades.
