Hailing originally from the tropical regions of asia, Jasmine flowers have been adored for years by many cultures for not only its breath taking beauty, but incredible fragrance. The jasmine plant usually produces flowering of white to yellow. The jasmine flower has found it's way into the home by being an intergral part of family gardens. The jasmine plant can grow out of control for keeping so it is advised that they should be grown in well drained, loamy soil and a bit of sand. The jasmine flower is excellent in gardens or can be planted in pots, but it is better to grow them in borders. A small fact, jasmine grows as a climbing vine with oval, shiny leaves and waxy flowers. it has been known that the oil of these flowers are used for aromatherapy purposes.
